JEWELS OF TRUTH

AFET knew that she had found great truth at the small group meeting that she and her mother and sister had been attending.  Within a year all three were baptized. AFET heart burned to share her faith with others, but it could not be easy because most people in her country consider Christians to be infidels.
AFET prayed for wisdom and God showed her texts in the dominant religions holy book that could lead people to Jesus.
This young girl brought many to Christianity through Christian books and her commitment. It’s our time to read and search the truth in the Bible and other holy books for our spiritual restoration.

THE REMEDY TO HIGH TENSION LIVING

Just a few years ago, some were predicting we would soon have more leisure time than we would know what to do with.
There were a number of good reasons for those confident predictions.
In the cities of the world computers were crunching through month long tasks in fractions of a second. And robots had begun to handle the grueling Jobs of heavy industry.

But after the computers have been whirring and automating, we are more out of breath than ever. People are running out of time these days, above all families are running out of time; husbands and wives find it hard to schedule quality time with the kids, much less with each other.
One study in a small community showed that the average time per day that fathers spend alone with their very young ones was 37 seconds. This however caused a great concern to many people and asking how they can slow down the stress in their families and the world at large.
Dear friends, Jesus understood the problems of families under stress by giving us a basis of hope in the book of (Mathew 11:28,29) “come to me all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest, learn from me for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls”.

YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT IF YOU BELIEVE IT

While many of my classmates waited for their parents to give them tuition every semester, I toiled to attain an education. When I was a bout to join secondary school in 2003, my father passed a way.
I knew that my mother was incapable of seeing me through school and the only way to acquire an education was through hard work. I started sweeping classrooms at school, cleaning and painting so that I could be allowed to stay in school.
My peers looked down on me as a failure in life; but I never stopped work. And therefore my perseverance got me through secondary school until my graduation. Today am working as the IT Consultant in the East African Standard News Paper in Nairobi.

THE WORLD’S LAST OPPORTUNITY

There is no human language that can explain the total humiliation which Jesus endured on the cross of Calvary.  As total darkness overshadowed the son of God on the cross, Jesus still demonstrated the love of God by forgiving his enemies.

This explains the reason why even many who supported the crucifixion of Jesus’ life saw the great love and power of God which was revealed by the innocent, blameless and lovely Jesus. And they confessed that this was really the son of God (Mathew 4:27).
As the world is seeking for global stability and the people are ruled in false security, its only Jesus who has eternal life and through acceptance and faith in him, we shall inherit the new earth.

CHRIST HAS NEVER FORSAKEN HIS PEOPLE

As it was in the days of Noah, when every creature on earth had moved from its right path, GOD destroyed the disobedient with floods. This makes many people to start saying that God had left the earth and some start breaking the law of God.
The story is made true in our generation, as people’s iniquities have reached God’s patience; many of us think that God has left this earth into a barren without hope of salvation.
But if we were created in God’s image and God himself gave his beloved Jesus to die as a ransom for our sins, surely I say unto you that the hand of God is still on his people (Isaiah 55:6-7); so then people of God, continue doing good until the end of this age, for the reward I can’t tell, only him (Jesus) who called you out of darkness to his marvelous light knows it in its fullest measure.
