CHRIST SAVES

Why was Paul able to make such a confident statement about his future? Here was a man who had persecuted the church of GOD in the past.

Speaking of him  under his old name Saul of Tarsus, the book of Acts says as of Saul,he made havoc of the church ,entering every house and dragging off men and women, committing them to prisons[Acts 8;3]. He carried letters from the high priest to the synagogues of Damascus so that he could bring Christians bound to Jerusalem.

But in Acts we read of his dramas tic conversion on the road of Damascus. He was an intelligent man, educated under the greatest teacher of his time with the highest sense of integrity, but the lovely Jesus transformed and saved him into the person we know today as "Paul".

Paul stood firm after receiving a new life in Jesus, he gained ever lasting hope which pushed him to serve the eternal GOD.

As Paul seemed to have committed many sins, Jesus forgave and transformed his early life deeds ; So don’t loose hope even though you are overcome by temptations, its not too late to repent because for that reason he beard the shame and he was crucified on the cross for our sins. Jesus is our mediator and a savior forever.

“Just confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and then you will be saved [Romans 10:9]”
